CE - Directive 2014/30/EU (EMC)


Intercert Global Sp. z o. o. as a Notified Body NB 2957, it carries out conformity assessment of products according to module B in accordance with the essential requirements of Directive 2014/30/EU of February 26, 2014 on the harmonization of the laws of the Member States relating to electromagnetic compatibility, which was implemented into Polish law by the Act of April 13, 2007 on electromagnetic compatibility. (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2022, item 2233).

What products are subject to certification for compliance with Directive 2014/30/EU?

The EMC Directive applies to equipment covering any apparatus or fixed installation.
Apparatus is understood as any ready-made device or their combinations made available on the market as single functional units intended for the end user and which may produce electromagnetic disturbances or whose operation may be affected by such disturbances.

A fixed installation is to be understood as a specific combination of several types of apparatus and, where applicable, other equipment that is assembled, installed and intended to be used permanently at a predetermined location.
 
What is the certification of products subject to Directive 2014/30/EU at ICG?

ICG conducts conformity assessment of products included in the scope of the granted authorization and notification, which is available on the Nando website - ICG Notification.
 
The conformity assessment process was developed on the basis of the requirements of the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17065 standard and consists of 6 key stages, i.e.:

  1. Submission of an application for conformity assessment,
  2. Reviewing the application,
  3. Conformity Assessment Plan,
  4. Conformity assessments,
  5. Decisions in the process
  6. Certificate issue
