Which products are subject to certification for conformity with Regulation (EU) 2011/305?
According to Regulation (EU) 305/2011 and the definition provided, "construction product" means any product or kit produced and placed on the market for incorporation in a permanent manner in construction works or parts thereof, the characteristics of which influence the performance of the construction works in relation to the basic works requirements.
We offer certification services for construction products subject to the 2+ system of assessment and verification of constancy of performance for the following groups:
- structural metallic products,
- geotextiles,
- aggregates for demanding and non-high safety applications.
What is the process of certification of the FPC?
The ICG conducts conformity assessment of products according to the 2+ system contained in the scope of authorisation and notification granted, which is available on the Nando - ICG Notification website. The process consists of 7 key stages, viz:
1) Submission of the application,
2) Review of the application,
3) Conformity assessment plan,
4) Initial inspection of the ICG and production facility,
5) Decision in the certification process,
6) Issuance of certificate of conformity of factory production control,
7) Surveillance, during which the factory production control is assessed and evaluated
